Chapter Four
Types of Abuse

1. Stranger/forced/violent (rare)

2. Seduction (most common)

3. Strictly sex (less common)

4. "Relationship" abuse. This is where the predator exerts a great deal of time, energy, money and attention on his victim to prep them for sex.  The molester has an ongoing interest in a fantasy/romantic relationship with the child/teen until, of course, they grow up, when they are discarded.

5. Incest (fairly common)

6. Pornographic abuse.
Both the use of pornography as a lure and the taking of photographs and videos of sex with the boy or teen is fairly common practice with predators.

7. Prostitution abuse.
Paying for sex with a boy on the streets or elsewhere is still rape.
8. Voyeur abuse.
Seeking out a boy or boys to view them naked is abuse.

9. Exhibitionistic abuse.
An adult who exposes themselves deliberately to a boy or teen for their own sexual gratification is abusing them.

10. Emotional abuse.
The worst damage inflicted by predators on their victims is emotional manipulation, control, broken trust, threats, confusion, etc.
